Ripple

Who else but Wilt the Stilt could I have inherited my super-long legs & tail from? Not to mention my incredible athletic talent – no one can play with the wand toy like me!
And just like Wilt, I came from humble beginnings. He was born in Philly, and initially didn’t even want to play basketball, but his potential was clear. I was a feral kitten, trapped in a Bed-Stuy backyard. Because I was older when I was trapped, I didn’t think I wanted to be friends with humans, but the cat experts have determined that I have the potential to be great, just like Wilt did.
Now I know what you’re saying – Ripple, you’re much too shy to be related to Wilt Chamberlain. He was famously charming. But did you know that Wilt was shy & insecure as a teenager too? Just give me a couple of months and the ladies will be lining up, I swear! I’m incredibly sweet, I like being held, and I’m friends with all the cats and kittens at the adoption center. (I’ll tell you a secret: the way to my heart is through tummy rubs and back scratches!)
Back when Wilt was playing ball, cutting-edge fashion on the court was limited to his headband. Nowadays, body art is more commonplace. I’m proud to say that I’m carrying on his tradition of trailblazing with my ear tip. It honors my Brooklyn street cat past, and makes me look very cool indeed.
Want to welcome a piece of basketball royalty into your home? Come to the Good Home Pet Adoption Center today to meet me!

Sweet, mellow, shy and playful. Great company for other cats.We Need You!
Your donations help to support our work in so many ways. All of the cats under our care need veterinary care and most need to be spayed or neutered. They need food, a safe place to live while transitioning off the street and time for proper assessment so we can make the best placement for them.
Donations help us support local TNR projects, maintain a trap bank and offer solutions for street cats in need. They help us fund special projects, such as transportation to other locations, public outreach and education campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of spay-neuter and the crucial need to keep intact cats indoors.
